A government department wanted to learn from Australia's response to sudden onset disasters in the Pacific, and beyond
Our Work
We facilitated a rapid evaluative process, including interviews, surveys and collaborative multi-stakeholder workshops to develop a shared understanding of the response, and jointly prioritise recommendations
The Impact
Many recommendations were implemented, supporting greater interoperability between agencies and tangible improvements in response capability.

The Challenge
A newly established regulatory commission needed to align its strategic planning with monitoring systems after two years of operational learning and evolving priorities.
Our Work
We developed an updated theory of change, strategic evaluation questions, and an aligned planning and monitoring approach that connected strategy to evidence collection.
The Impact
The commission gained a coherent organisational narrative and a clear pathway to collect the right evidence for decision-making.
